CleanHandy LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit https://www.cleanhandy.com or use any related mobile application, tools, or services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Platform.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly (see § 10).

  2. Verify Pros – conduct background checks and validate insurance or license information.
  3. Communicate with you – respond to inquiries, send transactional notices, and deliver service or policy updates.
  4. Personalize user experience – understand preferences, recommend services, and display tailored content or ads.
  5. Process payments – via our payment processor, Stripe (card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and never stored on our servers).
  6. Ensure safety & security – detect fraud, abuse, or security incidents and protect against harm.
  7. Comply with legal obligations – maintain records for tax, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
  8. Improve the Platform – perform analytics, debug errors, and develop new features.
  9. Market our services – send promotional emails or push notifications (you may opt out at any time).

Although U.S. privacy laws do not generally require a legal basis, we process personal information under the following common‑sense grounds:

  • California residents may designate an authorized agent and will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
  • We have disclosed the following categories of personal information for business purposes in the past 12 months: Identifiers; Commercial Information; Internet Activity; Geolocation Data; Professional Information.

E. Do‑Not‑Track Signals

The Platform does not currently respond to browser Do‑Not‑Track (DNT) signals.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., TLS encryption, access controls, periodic penetration testing) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data‑protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@cleanhandy.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy periodically. We will post the revised Policy on the Platform and, if the changes are material, provide at least 14 days’ advance notice via email or in‑app notification before the new Policy takes effect.
